I have been blessed with a speedy metabolism. Nearly everyone I have had more than one conversation has remarked on this fact and scowl, “I can’t wait until the day it slows and you get fat”. This fact aside, I am not the healthiest eater and I am aware of the fact that I will not get away with eating junk all the time. Also I found my skin has been in terrible condition and I can’t help but blame my diet for it. Some changes were to be made in my lifestyle.
As regards exercise I can be pretty confident I get more than enough. I walk everywhere, take dance classes and do cheerleading a couple of times a week. The dance is great for muscle tone and the cheerleading is great for muscle strength. My diet is where the problems lie.
First I needed to make some cuts from my life. I cannot deny my sweet tooth, I know I’m sweet enough but I’m addicted to the chocolate, particularly Cadburys. Flake, Dairy Milk, Moro, you can’t go wrong my friends. But I was having too much. I’m generally trying to cut out the chocolate and sweet rubbish that I love so much. The other cut was one I tried recently but failed miserably.
Always Coca-cola. I found myself nearly drinking two bottles of it a day, and when one of my friends remarked that I always had some I really had to look at myself and realise that I was very addicted. I found myself craving that sugar and caffeine kick every time I was thirsty. I had to go cold turkey, and that’s just what I did. Going cold turkey almost required me to re-train my body not to expect the sugar & caffeine that I would get when I got coke. I only drink water now, whenever I feel the want for some of the sweet stuff I take a drink of water. My body is slowly learning it’s lesson, it’s extremely difficult but I do feel a lot better and my skin is clearing up.
I’m drinking more water, eating less sweets and eating more acceptable foods and this is doing me a world of good. I highly recommend taking a look at your diet if you’re feeling a little worse for wear because you really are what you eat.

Good luck! It’s tough but can be done. What I used to do is allow myself one junk food day per week and that way I have it all set and can eat whatever food I want on that day and the rest of the time try to eat properly. It helped me! It’s tough to go cold turkey, good luck!

You are what you eat. Hence why I am comprised of 99% Natural Confectionary Company jellies, bran muffins, bagels, coffee and toast.

@Anthony That is a great idea, however I fear that one treat may be the gateway to many more throughout the day! >_<
@Matt I won’t blame you for being full of the Jellies and Bagels. They rock.
